System Requirements

Primer3 has been successfully installed and tested on the following systems:

• Sparc running SunOS 4.1 (gcc 2.7.0)
• Alpha running DEC Unix 3.2 (gcc 2.7.0 and DEC cc)
• Pentium running Linux 1.2 (Red Hat) (gcc 2.7.0)
• Pentium running LInux 2.6.14 (Gentoo) (gcc 3.3.5)
• Pentium running FreeBSD 5.4 (gcc 3.4.2)
• PPC running Mac OS X 10.4 (gcc 4.0.0)

Primer3 may well compile and run on other POSIX architectures with ANSI C compilers. Please contact the authors with portability suggestions.
